2. If you are travelling independently then you select which regions and which activities to add to your wishlist. If you are joining any of the coach tours you will find the price at the bottom of each itinerary and you can send us an email to check availability, add days pre and post the coach tour and make a booking.
We send your 1st free quote – a proposed customized itinerary and price which will clearly indicate what is and is not included in the tour price. You review the quote and advise us of any changes you wish to make.
If necessary we make amendments and send you a 2nd free quote. TravelplaNZ will prepare up to 3 quotes free of charge and any changes after that will require you to pay a deposit to confirm your intention to travel with us.
Once you are completely satisfied with the itinerary and price, you book your international air flight arrangements and advise us of your confirmed arrival and departure details. Pay us a non-refundable 20% deposit by credit card or bank/telegraphic transfer – see our Terms & Conditions. We commence booking the arrangements.
When all arrangements are confirmed, we send you a comprehensive confirmed itinerary with details about all your accommodation, directions to accommodation where required, reporting times and places for transport and sightseeing activities as arranged.
45-days prior to your arrival in New Zealand, the remaining 80% of your tour costs is to be paid.
It is important that any changes to your international flights in to or out of New Zealand are advised to us before your arrival.
Our Meet & Greet staff meet you at the airport arrival lounge, welcome you to New Zealand and deliver your tour documents which include a comprehensive final itinerary, route description booklet, emergency contact information, vouchers for all the services we have booked and New Zealand Map Book if you are driving yourselves. Your Meet and Greet person will go through the itinerary and documents with you to ensure that everything is clearly understood.
Your tour commences – either by collecting a rental car or with a transfer by coach, private car and driver/guide or shuttle – depending on your budget and choice of transport.
We are based in Hamilton (located 2 hours south of Auckland) and our office is attended 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive with a 24-hour after hours emergency phone number in case you need our assistance.
